Hi i am using Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 which is still stuck with v. 1.93. i've used PPA's before but seem to be having an issue with this one. i used 'sudo add-apt-repository ppa:transmissionbt/ppa && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade' but transmission didn't get upgraded. If i open up Synaptic i can use 'Force version' to choose v 2.33 but then i get this error when i try to apply:
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
E: Unable to lock the download directory
but i don't find any broken packages. any idea how to fix this? where can i look for more detailed logs of what's going on? thanks
