transmission very active in auth.log file

Hello all,

just curious, but looking at my auth.log file. I see many lines like this. about every 2 till 5 minutes there is a line in the log quite similar to this one.

transmission-gtk: gethostby*.getanswer: asked for "calu-atrack.appspot.com.nyud.net IN A", got type "DNAME"

Is there anybody out there who can explain me what this means?

Tracker DNS?

You mean the tracker is funcioning as DNS? No I dont think so. The DNS is supplied by my ISP.
