I'm setting up a new Ubuntu machine as media server, and I followed a couple of guides on installing Transmission. I set up the CLI version first, and really didn't care to be editing text files, so then I went in and configured the GUI version, because it's a very appealing interface. Does this mean that I have Transmission running twice somehow, or is this fine as is? I'm still a bit of a n00b when it comes to the Linux learning curve, so I'm not sure if I've screwed up or even how to tell.
The power of Transmission really shines when it comes to all these media server apps. Thank you all for your hard work!
Ubuntu: double installed?
Re: Ubuntu: double installed?
Well it appears to not be running as a service anyway. I'm probably just going to have to look at my old machine and see what I did wrong.
