[SOLVED] File download priority and skipping files

Post by Agonche »

Hello guys.

I'm new with this software.

I'm using Transmission GTK and I want to download something pretty big (13GB).

There are alot of files in the torrent.

1.How can I set the download priority for a file to download before others so I don't have to wait until the whole torrent finishes downloading?

2.Can I skip files from downloading? If yes, how?

Thanks in advance.

On the torrent's Properties panel, Files tab.

Yes, same place.

If the panel is not obvious, then there is the documentation, which should appear if you use the Help -> Contents menu item... but if you are using version 2.82 (or any 2.8x version) the help page hasn't been created. You can use the old page: http://www.transmissionbt.com/help/gtk/ ... arted.html, the specific information you are asking is under "Can I choose to download specific files? " (at least the panel figure, which should make the answers obvious).

How to get to the torrent's properties? Either double-click it, or select and use the menu: Torrent -> Properties.

I was looking in the Properties panel, Files tab but the file names were so large I couldn't see those options.

Thanks, solved.
