Hi. I'm using Transmission version 2.51 (13280) on Linux Mint 13.
Here's my problem: I noticed that when I open Transmission, my internet connection behaves in a very strange way. When I'm browsing pages, the connection seems to work in an intermittent fashion: for example, I open an URL and it takes more than 15 seconds to start downloading the page, then it works well for 15 seconds, then it seems stuck again and so on...
Moreover, I have recently noticed that when the internet is slow, the port I use in Transmission is closed, while when it's open, the internet connection works like a charm. So I think that there may be a connection between these two things.
I'm attaching a screenshot of my router's forwarding rules. In protocol, "entrambi" means "both". Of course, I use that port in Transmission. I don't use UPnP because when I use it and delete the forwarding rule, the port is always closed.
Have you got any idea on how to solve this problem?
Thanks!
