High Memory Usage

Postby User328 » Sun Dec 11, 2016 9:10 pm

What the average memory usage of Transmission running upwards off 500 torrents? This number seems low to me in comparison to past numbers but as of the last few days I have memory usages ranging between 800 MB and 2 GB to the point where my desktop is freezing out. I have never had this issue before. What can be done about this?

A troublesome .resume file or specific torrent, perhaps? Have you changed anything on your system lately? HD in good shape?

Windows user?

How would I be able to isolate if it was .resume file or specific torrent? Also no changes in the system and the HD is in good working order.

Start them up in batches of 50, for example, and watch for memory issues.
