Transmission

I seemed to recall a few months ago that I can connect to a transmission-daemon instance (running on a console only raspbian) using the desktop client. This was on a Mac.

I'm currently trying out the Linux on my main desktop and I cannot find the feature on the transmission-gtk client.

Is this feature available? If yes, how do I do it? Thanks
