I'm really liking the new filters by tracker, however, the columns for the timestamps when the torrent was added and completed are now gone.
I GOTTA have that!

There were no such columns earlier...zxsix wrote:jusid wrote:Version 0.92 beta is available as New Year gift

Oops. I was confusing it with this other similar app: http://forum.transmissionbt.com/viewtop ... f=1&t=6611jusid wrote:There were no such columns earlier...zxsix wrote:jusid wrote:Version 0.92 beta is available as New Year gift

Download .zip archive with Linux binary, extract it, set executable permission for transgui binary and run it. That's all.Sickboi wrote:Hi! I am a newbie in linux. I would like to use this gui instead of clutch, but I do not know how to install and configure it under linux. I have tried to google the net for a how to with no success.
I plan to install it on a (headless) DNS - 323 NAS runing linux.
could someone help me please?
thank you. i have downloaded, extracted, copied the transgui file to my NAS, set the permission to executable, with "chmod +x transgui", then tried to execute it with "./ transgui" but i have received a "/ffp/bin/sh: ./: Permission denied" error message.jusid wrote:Download .zip archive with Linux binary, extract it, set executable permission for transgui binary and run it. Wrong answer! Your Linux binary runs only on Intel x86 or AMD processors, Sickboi is talking about an arm-based system (or is it mips-based?, non-x86/amd64 compatible anyway), and headless to top it off, no Window manager so your program will definitely not work.jusid wrote:Download .zip archive with Linux binary, extract it, set executable permission for transgui binary and run it. I think the main problem is you are calling this "Transmission Remote GUI", what is remote about it? Your program is actually a local client which comes in three builds: one runs in MS Windows, the second ... you get the idea.
It won't run on the DNS-323, but it may work if all you want is to have access to your server from a supported platform (supported by this client).Sickboi wrote:Its headless and arm based. mainly its a NAS drive with telnet access and some kind of linux op. system. Do I understand it right, it means that this gui will not work for me???
Thank you, meanwhile I edited my last post after realizing the things you have just wrote. Anyway, thank you for the info.rb07 wrote:It won't run on the DNS-323, but it may work if all you want is to have access to your server from a supported platform (supported by this client).Sickboi wrote:Its headless and arm based. mainly its a NAS drive with telnet access and some kind of linux op. system. If you read the whole thread, this is a client that communicates with transmission-daemon using the same method (and port) used by transmission-remote and the Web client (long time ago known as Clutch). It doesn't substitute anything, transmission is installed as always and the Web client is there chugging along, this new client is just a local application you would run instead of opening the browser and using the Web client.
