Everything seems okay now, but it's taking longer to restart now that Transmission has to check the existing download data.1/22/09 12:05:15 AM [0x0-0x311311].org.m0k.transmission[29193] Assertion failed: (session->events), function tr_runInEventThread, file /var/tmp/pea/svn.transmissionbt.com/trunk/libtransmission/trevent.c, line 377.

Is there any crash log? It might be too long to post here, so you can go http://transmission.pastebin.com/ post it over there and link back, if possible.wizzle wrote:After about seven or eight pauses, when I attempted to start (unpause) the torrent, Transmission crashed.

Sure, where are the crash logs stored?

See the "if transmission crashed on a mac" section of http://forum.transmissionbt.com/viewtop ... f=1&t=3274wizzle wrote:Sure, where are the crash logs stored?
Re: Crash 1.42+ r7617~r7624, random
No crash log, sorry. I also noticed a few completed downloads had their directories corrupted. I am downloading to an external NTFS hard drive - so in Windows I ran a chkdsk on the drive and it was able to recover some, but not all of the data. Now I have since restarted Transmission and restarted the lost downloads. As they are completed, I've been moving them to a different folder on the drive. I have six concurrent torrents running right now, and one has paused itself again. Instead of immediately resuming, I'm going to leave it alone until a few of the others get closer to finishing.

MacBook Pro - Leopard 10.5.6
Processor - 2.33 GHz Intel Core Duo
Memory - 3Gb 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Transmission - 1.42+ (7832)
Was running four downloads, added a fifth and transmission crashed.
When I leave it running during the night, it will often just lock itself up and I need to set Force Quit to release it again.

Re: Crash 1.42+ r7617~r7624, random
I finally tracked down the data corruption problem to a faulty NTFS-3G driver. Updated, and now it seems okay.
