1.50b Inspector not reporting

Post by Maxtcc »

Just installed beta 1.50b.
the installation is on:
Model Identifier: MacBook2,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache (per processor): 4 MB
Memory: 2 GB
Bus Speed: 667 MHz
Boot ROM Version: MB21.00A5.B07
SMC Version: 1.13f3

running Tiger 10.4.11

Transmission appears to be fully functioning for all intents except for two obvious defects:

The inspector will only relate peer information, all other tabs are not accessible .
The dock icon does not provide running total for u/l and d/l.

There seems to be no options within the preferences to obviate these difficulties, Am I missing something, or is this teething problems?

Well , I don't exactly know why or how.
But my macbook had a kernel panic and crashed, followed instantly on rebooting by a further kernel panic and a crash.
on second safe reboot. discontinued all active programming and clear booted again.
Then reinitialized Transmission and Firefox, and now the former issues are both now no longer apparent.
inspector is revealing all and the dock is listing u/l and d/l

So after all the new beta is working properly, and I am glad to have stuck with it because the transfer rates are 70-100% better than was the case with ver 1.42 which had been installed up to this point.

Just thought I would let every one know the good news.
Even though sadly, no-one bothered to attempt to assist me with this difficulty.

ps. I just noticed that it took almost exactly 12hrs to clear up this issue, how about that.
