Mac freezing caused by Transmission + Recipe

Post by Enkera »

After using uTorrent for about 2 months because my private tracker wouldn't let me use Transmission, they now do,
so i downloaded Transmission again and imported all my torrents to Transmission,
after about an hour, Transmission will freeze, then the dock, then the finder,
Force Quit menu doesn't pop up anymore,
but all other apps like coversutra and quicksilver work fine, exept that any interaction with finder is nullified.

After hogging around Transmission, Appzapping it and reinstalling it a few times, switching to Nightly etc didn't show any effects,
i finally found out that giving induvidual imported torrents that aren't finished yet their own bandwith speed cap in the infopane of the torrent, this is what results in the eventual freeze.

The only solution is to pull the plug from the mac or hold the shutdown button.

Any information on how to get a buglog of some sort to sent to you guys will be great.
cheers and thanks for an awesome client!

Ok, freezing now happens when i cap the download speed in any way, one file, all files or just turn speedcap on, in favor of upload speed (swarming).
This is getting highly annoying, i've done everything i can to try to get it to stop, switching back to utorrent... at least it doesnt crash my complete system all the time..
