Control Transmission with an application and not a web GUI?

Post by Data-Base »

Hello,

is there any program to remote control Transmission with a Mac or/and Linux application (not the web GUI)

I found this for windows and it worked for me (as a test though windows on VMware)

any plan to have this as an app on Mac ?

..im not sure i really see the point in having that... the web gui serves as a remote just fine... maybe u would be happy with more features and control in it?

to centralize the downloads :-)

when I download stuff it will be on always through the fileserver, it is easy with the web gui but for people like daddies or the wives will make it looks more natural :-)

Yes. The new Qt client, currently in beta, can do this.

Any chance the remote session functionality will be ported to the cocoa app?
