Dialog for all torents: Invalid torrentfile.

Post by arthur de meyer »

Since a few days every torrent I try to download, it says invalid torrent file. When I try opening it by clicking and dragging it asks me input for trackers, for every torrent I download I get the same error report/ dialog box. I thought it might be the software and tried bittorent, same same. Then I decided to make a new account and it does work there. I then tried to copy the preferences file from the working account library to my account, deleting the old one first, log out, log in still the same. I have no idea how to solve this. Anybody any suggestions?

Thanks!

When you tested on the new account, did you download a new torrent or test with one you had downloaded with the other account?

Try to download torrents from a new source and see if it might be a problem with the site you download from.
