Love DHT, Freezes With 3+ Transfers

for some reason Transmission freezes when downloading more than 3 torrents at a time, after it freezes the downloads stop for a while and restart... but none of the peers or seeders are disconnected, i am using an aluminium iMac... so can't really see it being due to slow computer, any help appreciated, thanks

Well, the first thing to do is to confirm that it's DHT. If you turn off DHT via the preferences dialog, and then exit and restart Transmission, will it still freeze up?
