Schedule-AM/PM or 24hr display

Post by drayon »

I request Transmission modify the 'Schedule' time displays to provide determination between AM/PM. Please add either an AM/PM input selection or force the time display to follow 24hour clock format settings in the Date&Time Clock System Preferences when selected.

Does this make any sense or do ppl like to blindly guess the Schedule times lol ;-)

The clock already displays AM and PM in the schedule function.

Mac OS X 10.5.7

Can I ask what font & size is used? is it hard coded?

edit-decided to investigate myself-answered my own question font appears not to be hard coded-pic below shows font substituted with Skia using Tinkertool

This is a standard time-picker widget. Your system must be set to show time in that format.

Strange, my system clock preferences is set to display 24 hour time as I see in the menu bar. However this does not effect Transmission. I just discovered
the following WILL adjust Transmission's display:

System Preferences/International/Formats/Times/Customize/Show Short Time select the 'Hour' element drop down and select '0-23'. Not bad but this changes the format globally so that email sent/receive dates are changed to reflect it.

Transmission follows what your system is set to - it's the best option.

yes changes made to the formats work well. Apple just make this process somewhat unintuitive.
