Version 1.54 is the final version for 10.4.11 support. All versions going forward require 10.5 Leopard.
It is unfortunate that many of the older users who use "Transmission" have to change BT client after years.
Anyway thanks for being able to enjoy this wonderful BT client.
No reason to change clients. 1.54 works perfectly fine. If they're not eager to update their OS for years, there's no need to be eager to have the newest torrent functionality (main functionality will still work fine).
