When I first used transmission, the icon on the dock will showed transfer rate but now the dock shows me total download rate which i don't want. Not only the icon but also on the interface too. So what should I do to make transmission show me only transfer rate?

have you tried to restart Transmission and/or your computer? that may fix it.

I have seen the same thing happening several times. In my case it happens at system startup ( I chose to launch Transmission automatically when I log in ). Transmission starts, displaying up/downloading speeds correctly (a few kB/s) and a minute or two later it displays up/download total (many MB/s). The thing disapear when I quit and relaunch the app. But I'm sure to see it again (during 1 out 3 system startup).
