Can't deselect single file in the inspector- partial seeding

Post by roderick »

When downloading a RAR'ed file you can choose which files you want to download in the inspector. However, when downloading a single file such as a DVD image you cannot deselect it making it impossible to download only a portion and seed it (helps get good ratios). I set the download limit to zero but this prevents the file from uploading somehow so I set it to 5kb/s and now it is uploading. I request the option to deselect a single torrent in the file inspector. Unless someone knows another way around this? Thanks.

Deselecting a single torrent and setting the speed to 0 are essentially the same. The program isn't the one preventing upload.

Actually I set it to 0 download and it wasn't uploading anything. As soon as I set it to download at 5 it began to upload like crazy so something is definitely going on there.

Bump. This is seriously still happening, i'm not making it up! Please make it so that you can deselect a single file in the inspector.
