I have recently come across Transmission. I use transmission-daemon (on Debian) with the web interface. I have lighttpd with php5 installed on the same server as well. I was wondering if there was any way to disable the http (rpc) server on transmission-daemon and move it over to lighttpd instead. I came across the help section on the web regarding using lighttpd as a proxy but that is not quite what I am looking for as it still leaves the http server on transmission-daemon running.
