I'm having a problem almost identical to one another poster had (pigdog4), involving getting an error message when I try to create torrents using Transmission. I see that his problem was fixed with a nightly build, so I'm hoping my problem might be something "easy" - to address. (!)
I am using build 1.72 on Mac OS 10.5.7. Ordinarily, when I go to create a torrent, I can put pretty much anything I want into the trackers field and it will work. The problem appears when I try to put anything ending .bz into the trackers field.
When I ask Transmission to create a torrent file with any tracker ending with .bz, I get an error message "unknown error (1) has occurred". This is a problem, as I use a site called ******.bz as my main private tracker site.
I just installed the Nightly update, Transmission-1.73+Z-svn-r8860.dmg , but the problem persists.
Can anyone help me out?
