Any versions that DL while in Sleep mode??

Hey there guys,

So I'm new to the board--please bear with me--and admittedly have been using some different BT programs in the past, but started using Transmission more recently (doesn't seem to crash as much as some of the other --cough, AZ--programs I've used, plus offers more choice about where you're DL'ing to).

However, I seem to notice--at least with the older version I'm using (1.50b5; I'm actually still using an older desktop, maxed out on Tiger)--that the program does NOT continue downloading while you're in Sleep mode (which some of the other guys--i.e., AZ--seem to do). Has this shortcoming been improved on the later versions??

Because admittedly, it's a question of whether I'd just be able to upgrade to a newer version of Transmission, or switch over to another BT program altogether...

If the computer is asleep the network is disconnected.

Well... If you're trying to just turn off the screen because it's bothering you, maybe you can try Sleep Display: http://linestreet.googlepages.com/

Besides that, there isn't much for "sleep like" than that.
