Where did the nightlies go?
Re: Where did the nightlies go?
Long time lurker here, new poster.
Love Transmission, but went to Snow Leopard, so I've been building nightlies. If anyone would like them until someone has taken over the full-time task, I'd be happy to post them. In fact, here's the latest one (r9065). No warranties express or implied, etc, etc. I usually don't run every nightly version, so I can't guarantee a particular one will work.

I'm using the build.sh script (completely unmodified) -- while it's been some time since I did any shell scripting, if it turns out you do need someone to auto-generate the nightlies, I'd be happy to oblige, since I do meet all the requirements.
In the meantime, though, I'll be happy to manually upload them every night or so until a permanent replacement can be found.

I stumbled onto this page from another thread. This looks like current, compiled nightlies... or am I missing something?
I'm running r9066 from here and it runs as Intel 64 bit app and seems okay.

Re: Where did the nightlies go?
hi,
(note: you should manually remove the non-english languages if build is labeled as Z,
this is for consistency)
however it's already very probable that the nightlies on xpjets 'll be back quite soon,
after a day or some..
some things which are tweaked on xpjets:
* non-english languages are pre-removed on Z builds
* there is Changelog.txt included on dmg
* there are appcasts available (zip and dmg for your choice) so you can update it via Sparcle (automatic update)
* and last but not least: new build appears on xpjets only if the mac part was changed (to avoid unneccessary updates)
hope to be back soon
correct, the latest compiled nightly can now be found in Hudson also..Weaselboy wrote:http://build.transmissionbt.com/job/trunk-mac/

Re: Where did the nightlies go?

Re: Where did the nightlies go?
The beta is from a different branch. Could you try older nightly builds and see if you can hunt it down?
Re: Where did the nightlies go?
sure, just grabbed 9084 and got the same issue.livings124 wrote:The beta is from a different branch. Could you try older nightly builds and see if you can hunt it down?
going back through the older builds now and will let you know ...
Re: Where did the nightlies go?
okay, it starts at 9053 and the builds before 9053 are complaining about missing openssl libs
