When ever I try to download a torrent on my macbook it just sits there and does nothing. In the Messege log it just keeps saying
DHT not ready (broken, 0 nodes)
tracker response: 0
I have checked all my firewall allows incoming transmission connections and checked my settings with my girlfriends macbook and they are the same... but mine doesn't work wtf?
please help

Please download some popular torrent from a working tracker for a few minutes (I recomment the OpenOffice or the Ubuntu torrents for that), which will bootstrap your DHT. After you see a debugging message that says ``Starting DHT announce (...)'', you can remove the torrent from transmission -- the DHT will have been bootstrapped, and will be working for all torrents.
