Remote access autentication not working in snow leopard

Hi all,

since I've upgraded to Snow Leopard, I cannot get remote access to work with authentication, it always says the password is wrong either if I try it locally or remotely from other IP address. (I'm sure the password is right since I've made several tried and changed the password in order to be sure).

Still, remote access without authentication works well ... but it's just too risky for me to leave it open like that.

Any solutions?

Also, just to clarify, I'm using Snow Leopard Server I don't know if that is the problem.
