1.74 crashes on launching (Mac OS X 10.5.8)

Had a similar problem to the ones above. As I'm still waiting for my Snow Leopard install disk, I am stuck with 10.5.8 for the mean time.

Re-booting my iMac did nothing, so I tried v1.73, but with similar results. Other forums mentioned v1.70 as a good stable option, but again this made no difference to the problem. So this morning after much head scratching I thought I'd give v1.74 one last chance, and for some unknown reason it all works now!

Again, not sure what I did (haven't installed or updated any software), but now it is working again. Might be worth trying the above sequence as a work around (unless it was something to do with the full moon last night )

I experienced the slowing-down/freezing issue while using 1.74, I've moved back to 1.73 on a macintel with MacOsX 10.5.8

That report is just full of question marks... literally. Could you try a nightly build and see if that works?

Sorry for all the ??? in the above code - I just copied and pasted form the error report. I'm no Mac poweruser, so didn't know how to create the error reports like other users (in previous posts).

I've just installed 1.75 and it seems to working fine. I also received Snow Leopard in the mail today, so will update overnight and see how that goes as well.

Had the same problem on my MacBook Pro (10.5.8). 1.75 works fine but still shows up as 64bit in Activity Monitor, is it supposed to do so?

I realized that when one of the two private trackers I use is down, Transmission crashes, even on 32bit mode (1.76).

Also... I have a small question. I know that there's a bug in Mac OS X 10.5.8 that prevents Transmission from working correctly when downloading and seeding a large amount of torrents at high speeds. It slows the system down and then freezes completely. I was curious to know if that bug is also present in 10.6.2 or if the problem exists there too.
