VPN and Menubar icon

I have 2 requests

1. If its possible, it would be great with a built in VPN function. When you start the application it directly connects to your VPN and start the downloads when connected. OR Just a warning that you are not connected to your VPN to remind you to connect before starting the downloads. The downloads should automatically stop if the VPN is disconnected. That would be great for users of relakks.nu or ipredator.se

2. I use a small dock, so the speed on the icon is to small to read, and they shouldn't cover the icon like that . A simple menubar icon that shows your up and download speed would be really cool. Like network monitor in iStat menus but just for the transmission speeds. Maybe if you click it you get a pull down menu with the progress of each torrents.

And for the small dock thing, Use Exposée or magnification
