Auto Change Transfer Priority

Post by nateinaction »

As an avid seeder I think it would be nice if Transmission could automatically change transfer priority based on a per-file seed ratio.

For example:
If a files seed ratio is <1 then transfer priority == High
If a files seed ratio is >1 and <global stop seed ratio then transfer priority == Normal
If a files seed ratio is >global stop seed ratio then transfer priority == low

Any thoughts?

I remember that eMule had this feature and I say that it is very effective.
I think the developers should consider including this feature on a future update.

I'm on board with this one too. Basically, the behavior I want is for torrents with ratios under 1 to have top seeding priority; if there aren't any or if they're stalled, other torrents can go ahead and seed. I can't figure out any way to get this to happen in the current Transmission options.
