Transfer window resizes after every launch (1.76)

Post by rcwBT »

Whenever I launch 1.76, the transfers window size increases in the vertical direction. It seems to increase by the height of the bottom bar (the bar with the speed limit and global settings buttons) upon every launch.

It may be easier for me to illustrate it through an example:

Step 1. Normal height (H). Quit Transmission.
Step 2. Relaunch Transmission. Height is now normal (H) plus bottom bar (b). Quit.
Step 3. Relaunch for second time. Height is now normal (H) plus 2 times the height of the bottom bar (2b). Quit.
Each subsequent launch increases the height of the transfer window by the bottom bar height (b).

I am running 1.76 stable on OS X 10.6.2. I have deleted all preferences and checked permissions. I even went so far as to uninstall and reinstall Transmission. Previous versions of Transmission seem to do the same thing. May be a Snow Leopard issue.

Sorry if my original post led to confusion; it is an odd problem and difficult to explain.

No, the auto resize option is not checked. I want the transfer window to stay the same size. It somehow increases in height incrementally after each launch.

I'm unable to replicate this with the current nightly build.

I completely uninstalled and reinstalled with build 9638. Problem is resolved. Thanks for the assistance.
