[bug] Created Torrent - Verify Local Data

Post by krs1 »

Hey... just a minor error that transmission looks in the wrong folder for local data.

(In this set-up torrents are set to download to Downloads\Torrents\ and Display "adding transfer" options window is on)
  1. Create a torrent from the folder: User Files\Torrents\Created Torrents\New Torrent
  2. Upload to the tracker ... download torrent... open with Transmission.
  3. Transmission is now looking in Downloads\Torrents\ for the data to already exist. Click 'Change Directory" and Transmission automatically remembers the torrent was created from User Files\Torrents\Created Torrents\New Torrent and moves to that directory. Transmission should look one level lower at User Files\Torrents\Created Torrents\
Just a little improvement to make life a little easier.

(love the program otherwise)

How would Transmission know it should look in that sub folder, as opposed to the location set in preferences?

I'm not sure how it knows... but it already does this... It just looks one folder too deep?

I can take video if you want?

The location in the dialog just happens to be the last location you were in, but the location it chooses by default is the one you have set in preferences.

Oh... I thought it was a feature. :-( sorry to complain.
