Hi,
I recently purchased a hard drive, and decided I would like to seed my existing torrents from that (to save space on my internal). I don't have all of the .torrent files for my torrents, so it's not as easy re-opening those into transmission, and changing the directory from there. Is there a way to change the download directory for my already seeding torrents?
Thanks
EDIT: I figured it out. You can change it by clicking the gear icon on the individual torrents.
[Solved] How do I change my torrents' download directory?
Re: How do I change the download directory of my torrents?
In my copy of transmission (1.76), clicking the Inspector window's gear icon doesn't give any way to change the directory. The path to a downloaded file is shown when you click the window's Info icon, and you can click and drag to select that path, making it appear that you can edit it, but in fact you can't.
So does anybody know how to change the path to a downloaded seeding file? What I'm looking for is how to move downloaded files to several alternative folders, not just one, and still be able to seed the files.
Thanks

Hi X190,
Thanks for responding.

Sorry I wasn't clearer. Try this:
I've got a default download folder named "Downloads", which contains lots of torrents and, for each torrent, a corresponding downloaded data file. All the data files are currently seeding.
I want to move all the data files out of the folder "Downloads". Some of them will move to "newfolderone", others will move to "newfoldertwo", and the rest will move to newfolderthree. (So now all I have left in "Downloads" are all the torrents.) I want all the data files to continue seeding.
My questions is: What do I have to do, and exactly how would I go about doing it, in order for all the data files to continue seeding?
Thanks in advance for any help
