remote control from within (and network client)

I was using rtorrent for a while and continue to on another computer in my place. I use transmission on my main one. Sometimes its a pain to move things, like if I start seeding on one computer and want to move it to another. Or if I want to change some settings on a torrent on another computer. Stuff like this is not too fun thru ssh or a web interface. Maybe transmission itself could control remote transmissions in the same network? Have some icon that show it's a remote torrent. It wouldn't update as often but at least all the options to control could be there. And moving torrents or copying them between clients would be amazing. Like if I download and want to keep seeding on my home server. It'd certainly make things a lot easy for people with multiple computers.
