Files tab in inspector appear in random order (no sorting)

Post by jollino »

Hello,
apologies if this has been asked already; I ran a search but couldn't find anything specific.

I have noticed that the files listed in the Files tab of the inspector are entirely unsorted, ie. I will have things like foobar004.mp3, foobar002.mp3, foobar003.mp3, foobar001.mp3, etc.
Another user reports in http://forum.transmissionbt.com/viewtop ... f=5&t=7448 that s/he sees the files ordered alphabetically and would like to have other sorting methods implemented. Myself, I'd be glad to get the alphabetic sort back. :)
It might have something to do with the fact that I've been using Transmission on this machine since before it hit 1.0, so some preference probably got wrong.
I opened the .plist file, and there are several keys whose name start with "NSTableView Sort Ordering", and they contain boolean and data values. I have absolutely no idea of what they are exactly about, though.

Any hints will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
