"Show in Finder" broken when partially downloading torrent

I have noticed when I've selected only a part of a torrent to download, and wait for the status bar to turn green (complete, seeding), the option in Cmd+Click menu "Show in finder" is broken. Does nothing. This becomes un-broken only when I go into inspector select everything in the torrent, and wait for the download to complete again.

I keep my incomplete files in a separate folder via the option in transmission preferences

it's been doing this for quite a few versions

It's not a big deal, I just thought I would make myself useful and point it out

I don't feel like downloading the nightly build is appropriate for this bug, and considering how recent my transmission ver is.

Is this in the main window or inspector? Does the file you want exist on disk? When you say "it's been doing this for quite a few versions", do you mean released versions or betas/nightlies?

Yes, the file exists on the disk


I know for sure it has been in released versions, betas, and nightlies.

I do not know exactly which ones (aside from the one I am currently using), as I do not keep a journal of all the versions I have used. If I had to guess, maybe it has been no earlier than the last four betas, or since the .part ext was implemented.

Still happening 100% of the time for any torrent in which I am only partially downloading, yet already finished and seeding.
