Do not install 1.82 on your Mac (LOCKED: duplicate thread)

I installed 1.82 update and it hosed my Transmissionbt. It will cause all of your transfers to stop. No matter what you do it won't start. I had to downgrade all the way to 1.76 in order for things to start working again. Whatever bug is in 1.82 it will hose 1.81 & 1.80.

I also already posted this, but it seam that Transmission support does not want you know that they screwed up, because they pulled my thread!

If you have upgraded and everything has stopped working: Trash Transmision from your Apps folder, down load this http://download.m0k.org/transmission/fi ... n-1.76.dmg, drop it back into your Apps, turn off your automatic updates!

You won't lose your current downloads and such, but you may lose your "Groups" I did anyway. That's the whole reason why I use Transmission is for the Groups!

Looking over the thread that was pulled, what I see is the entire thread consists of you posting replies to yourself and cursing. If you want to look for conspiracies of why your thread was pulled, you'll simply have to do better. There are several people complaining about 1.82... why didn't we remove their posts?

Anyway, this appears to be a duplicate of this thread. As such I'm locking this thread and request that people post their followups here instead. Thank you!
