unable to update to version 1.83

Every time I use the auto update feature in transmission 1.82, I get the error "This update was improperly signed." When I try yo download and install it manually, I get the error "image data corrupted." What's wrong?

Try clearing your browser cache and downloading it again.

What operating system do you have? What version of transmission do you have?

mac os x 10.6.2
transmission 1.82

I was wondering about that so I went to the website to install it manually, but it cant even open the DMG image, so a corrupt transmission install couldnt be it. I normally use firefox but after the 4th corrupt DMG download, I tried chrome and got the same result.

safari couldnt cut it either....though its faster than I remember it.
