Define download dir for torrents started by watch dir

Post by dexus »

One feature I really miss is the possibility to define a separate download folder for torrents started using the watch folder.

I use rss to download files to my watch folder, and ftp-monitor to automatically fetch the files downloaded to my local box.
this works very well, but often I wish to use Transmission to get something else. The only way to not have the ftp-monitor auto-download these files is to download the torrent, saving it, re-opening it in Transmission using "open with options" and then specifying a separate download dir. Yes it is possible, but I think it is rather cumbersome.

By specifying a specific folder to put all downloads started from the watch-dir, I can define my ftp-monitor to watch that dir, and Transmissions regular default dir would be used for anything else I should choose to get.

Am I just being lazy or is this a valid request? (I know this sentence is gonna come back and bite me...)

Btw. Thanks for all the developers that created this great piece of software.

Some way to Auto Sort the Watch directory files would be great or at least have more than one watch source and destination.
