Need Help Skipping File

Hi. I opened a torrent file and it shows three files in Transmission. Two files are small text files and the other file is a large file that is over 400mg. I only want to download the text files. However, I can' t figure out how to exclude the large file from my download. I unchecked the box next to the large file and then started the download, but the download still included that large file. There must be an easy way to exclude that file but I can't figure out how. Thanks
