Transmission 1.92 Rehash Checking Every DL

Strange issue...

I recently upgraded to 1.92 from 1.9.1 on Mac OS X 10.5.8
on a Dual 2.7 GHz G5 w/8GB RAM.

It appears that every torrent that downloads has to rehash
check, and it puts the torrent in pause mode forcing me to
catch it and restart it.

Any clues?
