Weird speed reporting...

I noticed that with Snow Leopard 10.6.0 and Transmission 1.92 if the time is set to the current time, the upload and download speed indicator will show the total amounts downloaded and uploaded rather than the download speed. But if I set the clock ahead several hours, it reports upload and download speeds correctly...maybe this can be a feature option?
