Hello
I have a large # of transfers open in transmission (because the site i download from rarely has anyone leeching the files i am leeching - so i get points for just having the file avail..) most are done and not seeding.. (currently there are 584...) We download directly to our NAS (rather than local macbook) due to size limitations of my macbook hard-drive. however, once in a while we need to do server maintenance -- and we reboot the server. I learned that transmission cannot handle that reboot (whether planned or accidental)... so i started pausing all transfers -- and closing transmission before the reboot... than ensuring my nas drives are all correctly reconnected (can access ok from finder and pathfinder).. than reopening transmission and unpausing.... but even after that it insists on checking existing data on ALL transfers - which takes 2 days...
anyway i can prevent transmission from having to re-check every-time there is server maintenance...? i thought pausing the transfers, and quitting it until the drives are reconnected would suffice.
Btw - before i am informed that its because of the large # of transfers... it happens even if i keep say 90% of them paused and unpause one at a time... it happens when i have only 20 transfers going to.
