Upload speed set to zero?

Hi all. I’m new to all of this and had a quick question. If my upload speed is set to zero, am I neither sharing nor seeding any files? I noticed that when I am downloading a file it shows my download speed, but my uploads are always 0 kb/sec.

Yes, your upload speed is set to 0kB/s, when you chose 0, unlike other clients where setting your upload speed to 0 means unlimited.

The best setting is about 80% of your total upload bandwidth.
