Incoming port when using a front-end

Post by DrBrain »

Hello,

can please somebody confirm that when using a front-end to Transmission (i.e. such as transmisson-remote-gui) the "Incoming port" you specify in the settings should be redirected from the router to the machine running the Transmission daemon an not from the router to the machine running the Transmission front-end?

Thanks.

The rpc port needs to be forwarded so it is reachable from the computer you're connecting from.

Thanks Longinus00. So, the port should be forwarded from the router to the machine running transmission daemon, right?
