2.12 Crashes Repeatedly

After upgrading to v2.12 Transmission began crashing repeatedly, with Console showing "2010/11/20 09:38:32 com.apple.launchd[4698] ([0x0-0xe60e6].org.m0k.transmission[26371]) Exited abnormally: Bus error"

Reverted to v2.11, crashes disappeared. Power Mac June 04 2GHz G5DP 8GB RAM GeForce 6800 Ultra DDL 256MB Leopard 10.5.8
