New GTK remote - transmission-remote-gtk

Hello!

I'd like to announce the first public release of a new GTK remote client written in C, which I hope some may find useful. There wasn't much choice for GTK remote clients, which is why I decided to write my own. The licence is GPL2.

It's a first release, so may have some bugs, but I've been holding off releasing it for a while until I was happy it was reasonably stable and does the things most people would expect.

I like this compact user interface as well. Perhaps [i]transmission-gtk[/i] could also use this layout when switched to compact mode.

Thanks to everyone for all the great feedback and suggestions. I've just released 0.2, changes include:

* support for editing/adding/deleting trackers.
* statistics dialog.
* fix for setting low priority files.
* port testing, blocklist settings and updates, torrent reannounce.
* show errors and download location in panel.
* SSL support.

transmission-remote-gtk 0.4 just released.

There's been a huge number of improvements since my last post in this thread. I've integrated the torrent open dialog from Transmission GTK, there's a speed graph, much improved efficiency of updates (including recently-active only updates for people with a lot of torrents), and a lot more.

This is a very nice client. Thank you ajf88.
GTK, QT are nice and simple, but this is more useful for some things.
I like the ability to sort by different fields like Uploaded.
The directory filters are extremely useful if you ever move some torrents.
Displayed ratio for torrents added complete or partly complete seems more reasonable.

One other field I think would be useful to sort by is Last Active.
It would be nice if the Move feature showed at least the unique paths that exist among selected torrents in the drop-down box when multiple are selected.
It does seem to take several times longer to switch filters than QT-remote, with 100% CPU.

The one about the move dialog has been done for a while in svn, I took the one already in the add dialog.
