Deleting torrent files

When a torrent comes in and I've finished seeding I set the location to move the files. Then I 'remove' the torrent. But like other torrent programs Transmission leaves the torrent file around. Is there a way to change this behaviour? It results in a lot of old files lying around that should really be gone.
