Can someone help I used to be able to download with ease using transmission. Can't do it now - i've trashed the version of transmission i had and downloaded the suggested version to work with mac os x 10.4.11 along with the suggested security update 2008-002 but still no luck. Downloads appear in transmission but just no actual downloading - no seeds recognised. Any help and I thank you in advance . . .

Please give more details. Are announces successful? Are you getting/connecting to peers? Is this happening with only certain torrents? If so, are they public or private? Are trackers using UDP or HTTP?

There is absolutely no connection to peers. And sorry but I don't know what is meant by "are announces successful" or what the UDP HTTP thing is. What I do know is I never used to have a problem downloading and now I just cant seem to download - actually scrap that - just had a look at my transmission and it is downloading from a torrent that has over 1000 seeders. So it seems to be only with low seeded ones though like I said never had this problem before. . . .

Announces are not successful currently on a torrent that has over 150 seeders. . .
