[Locked duplicate] UL speed exceeds limit when DLing
A question I want to raise long ago is that when transmission is downloading something, actual upload speed usually exceed the limitation I set.To the contrary, when only seeding no downloads runing, actual download speed is quite smillar to the value I set.In this case,I set upload limit to 24kb/s,when No downloads<30kb/s,when downloading≈40~50kb/s. To be more specific,I am running transmission-daemon 2.21 in Openwrt with 4M/512k ADSL,I have to limit upload speed smaller than 24kb/s because larger value would pull down download speed.

Re: Need a script to get how many torrents are still downloa
How about something like "transmission-remote -l | grep Down | wc --lines"
Re: Upload speed exceed limitation when downloading
Bump,content changed

WTF, you completely erased the previous topic and subject, so my previous answer will make no sense to new readers and be unfindable to anyone with a similar question in the future? AND, the new topic/subject is a duplicate?
Anyway this new subject has been covered before so I'm locking this duplicate thread. Please continue the "upload exceeds limit" topic here. Thanks!
