peer connected and peer of swarm

Hi. I've downloaded a file with transmission, and i connected with 1/0 seed and 0/2 peer. Of course it's slow... but after the peers column there is (103) value.
Below, in general tab i have

Peers:         0 of 2 connected (103 in swarm)

Why this 103 are in swarm, and transmission can't connect to these? And why is "x/2 (103)" and not "x/103" ?
