Trackerless torrents eat 100% CPU

Post by pitris »

Hello,
I'm running transmission-daemon 2.12 (11412) on OpenWrt Backfire (10.03.1-rc4, r24045) on RouterStation. Works perfectly. Recently I started using trackerless torrents (via magnet links) and here came the problem: After several hours of a run of transmission-daemon (usually 24 hours or so), the torrents without trackers start to eat a lot of CPU. Usually transmission occupies the whole processor. If I stop one trackerless torrent, a significant release of CPU can be seen. If I stop all of them, CPU usage is in range 0-10, which is normal. After restart of transmission-daemon everything works fine (CPU usage to 10%), no matter what torrents are running. Torrents with trackers don't affect this at all.

Any ideas?
Thanks.
