have no remote tab

I have installed transmission 2.30 on my netgaer duo nas. My problem is that i cant find that remote tab anywhere. under preferences, all i got is a general and a speed tab. Can anybody help me with this newbie-question.

I don't think I'm understanding your question correctly. Could you post a screenshot?
